Published! Sounds great guys. Thanks John for the great drums, solid as always. Sounds great guys. Let me know if you feel that mixing adjustments are needed. Right now, I'm hearing all parts pretty equally.

@pcderic: Hi Eric sounds good to me but I do know CopyCat just tweaks my drums to optimum position. He generally does this geek thing to get every track as tight as possible. Pleasure to join you guys rally great song.

@pcderic: Eric...that really l came together. Amazing how 6 guys miles away hit all those timing changes and sounded like they were in the same room. Nice job all.

@Rick : I was just thinking that. I guess that the fact we're all working against the BT (with that "BT Only" option) is like working the same drummer in the same room with but with less need for visual comm. since we're playing against the same static track (and I won't mention retakes...).

@Bdajaysus: Super sweet drumming, as always! I tweaked your track timing forward slightly. Sounded a tad behind before. Tighter now, I think. One more publish will apply the change, which is nearly unnoticeable. Thanks for another awesome track!

Oh, sweet! Exactly what I was hoping for, the walking bass. Many piano players would try to play the bass line but not as well as a bass player. I learned the left hand like Burton Cummings (simple bass to go with the right hand) and it works well with the bass. Great job man! Published in a hurry. The only mod I did from CC's mix was pan the up-strums from Rick to the right.

@CopyCat : Yeah, can't wait for John's Bdajaysus drums to put the icing on the cake in that bottom right black square. No rush/pressure my friend. Just welcoming your part anytime!

Hi Eric...your timing changes with the BT fixed the issue...I should of spotted that ! I gave you two tracks...the first is an acoustic rhythm that should not be too far off from the BT version. The second is the little up strum on the 4rth beat of each measure. That is a part not made for an acoustic and hard to figure out if the guitar in the BT was perhaps tuned differently. To get the sound I EQ's all the lows and moved up the high, then added as much reverb as I could get out of BandHug. Got it to sound a little closer to the record. I saved a mix and had to pull the volume slider in the DAW to about 10 considering my EQ work greatly boosted the volume. Not a perfect track, but was an experiment for me to try. Use if it works, I wont be offended if the tracks are rejected. Again for me was just giving it a try. Keep making music ! Rick

SixStringRick Nice work! No rejection needed here :-). Your strumming sounds pretty much exactly as I heard the 2 tracks from the song. I published it but let me know if things don't feel properly balanced. I think we relatively lucky that with all the parts we have that each track's volume is pretty steady.

Couple of things that might stop bt from playing in recording area. 1 bt must be first track. 2. Track one should be a zero. I see the the bt starts at 0.840. Make it zero or try a work around, Once in recording window drag the slider so the start time says anything other that zero like 0.01. Then start the recording. Old bug. But changing the track to zero should fix the issue. Alternatively add the time to beginning of the track 1 - download edit offline adding 0.840 to the beggining, Re upload. Or set track to 00.00.000 and readjust all the other tracks.
