This song is rather less well known in the USA than it is in the UK where whole soccer stadium crowds sing it.. I only learned it when I assembled a musical homage to my father-in-law for his memorial. He was a big piano bar, sing in the car kind of singer, and we collected all the songs we could remember hearing him.sing in a CD and a songbook. And then I led a big sing-along ice cream party in the clubhouse of his community. And man did people sing this one with feeling! So this song reminds me of him. Good job sir!
