Great job John This! To sing this song you have to jump in with both feet..And be a tenor. And you did, and you are!

This song is rather less well known in the USA than it is in the UK where whole soccer stadium crowds sing it.. I only learned it when I assembled a musical homage to my father-in-law for his memorial. He was a big piano bar, sing in the car kind of singer, and we collected all the songs we could remember hearing him.sing in a CD and a songbook. And then I led a big sing-along ice cream party in the clubhouse of his community. And man did people sing this one with feeling! So this song reminds me of him. Good job sir!

Thank you Robert. This is a song you have to feel. Anyone hearing it sung by 50 ,000 people live at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium will know what I mean. My attempt here could probably replicated by any one of those 50k souls. Would love to have been in bar with your father-in-law! b33zo
