"Day After Day" is a song by the British rock band Badfinger from their 1971 album Straight Up. It was written by Pete Ham and produced by George Harrison, who also plays slide guitar on the recording. The song was issued as a single and became Badfinger's biggest hit, charting at number 4 in the United States and number 10 in the UK, ultimately earning gold accreditation from the Recording Industry Association of America.
"Day After Day" was written and sung by Pete Ham and produced by George Harrison,[3] who plays some of the slide guitar parts of the song along with Ham.[4] The record also features Leon Russell on piano. As the song was unfinished at the time Harrison left the Badfinger album to produce the Concert for Bangladesh, the final mix was done by Todd Rundgren, who took over Straight Up after Harrison's departure.

As nominal producer and organizer, I congratulate all of you on this very nice number. Now congratulate yourselves and give it a like if you haven't already.

5-31-26 - Remix completed, thanks for the opportunity Greg.
Acoustic guitar was lost in the prior mix, now clearly heard. Background vocals separated vs. all dead center in prior mix. All tracks nicely balanced. Bill's piano playing is simply exquisite..plus the sound he achieved was just like the original recording. Carlos slide playing was also brought forward in the mix as it was buried before. All players on this Collab deserve a congratulatory mention.

@Gregorian: had to redo this agin, bass was slightly off..should sound better now. PS you may want to write to Dennis to get Bill's vocal track up higher in the tiles though up to you. There's a way to do this and it takes a little while.

Nice work with the mix indeed, and I agree Bill's vocals deserve to be a bit louder (and maybe the BV can be a bit lower, I feel like we mainly hear the harmonies and not his lead, and the harmonies and backing vocals are meant to be just in the background...)

@camillesobud: his volume is on Max..I'll see what I can do..I agree. But also the tile arrangment he should be centered.

@camillesobud: Boosted his vocals by 1db across the board with the BandHug EQ. Helped a bit. I think the reverb is drenching his vocal track and placing it too far in the background. Needs have a drier sound. Unfortuantely I cannot boost his vocals any higher as it's just begun digitally clip. You can see the spikes in DAW mode.

I'm seeing a lot of activity on this collab when I thought we were done. In any case, Tony, should I take it that you are still looking after things?

@Gregorian: Bill and I spoke and he redid his vocal line as we discussed previously (or maybe that was camille?). If youre good with it, please publish and then lock the collab. It's a winner. Camille's backups were impressive.

@Gregorian: Bill added his vocals and had some suggestions..I went ahead with his recommendations and included those in a fresh mix and published..we're good as of 6-12-26 11a.m. It seems we are all done. Please advise.

Camille's lovely BVs were just what this one needed. Great job, tout le monde. Don't forget to give this one a like. It deserves it.

Hey, I recorded two BV tracks, I saved a mix on DAW mode where I re-synchronized them (at -00:00.090) and volume of them is 90% so we mostly hear the lead. Let me know Gregorian if you can apply the mix I just sent ! :) And congrats guys, this sounds really good, and OMG Bill you're a singer too !!! Love your vocals (and of course the others instruments as always). Carlosred, Anthony, Gregorian, well done too !! :) Happy to join !!

I'm afraid Yoshi has backed out of this one. If anyone knows someone who might take over BV duties, please reach out to him or her. Thanks.
