@yoshikoba: I don't know much about these settings. I'm just trying to figure out why when I play a John song (including now I'm recording Kenny Rogers - she believes in me), my tracks come out with a sound that's different (not very good), like I'm playing another instrument. Yoshi, how do I know if BT is OK?
I only know how to set the keys to a certain frequency when needed. But I already recorded the piano at 440, and it doesn't sound OK. When I export all the tracks and put them in a new project in DAW, everything is fine. But I'm afraid that uploading on the site will not be OK. Apparently the problem is with the karaoke BT's that John uses. This was the case in the Richard Marx project, and despite my efforts, the keys do not sound normal.
@yoshikoba: There are quite a few backing tracks with unusual pitches. Instruments without a tuning mechanism have a hard time.If only the instrument had a tuning function, all would be well...
@yoshikoba: Now I know why the DAW was always an anomaly in the collaborations you participated in. You are having a very hard time. Can you tell me the make and model number of the keyboard you are using?
@b33zo: If the backing track is not at standard pitch I use audacity to set it to standard pitch and then upload it.The tempo should not change. But if you change the backing track of this desparado to standard pitch, the vocals (and backing vocals) and piano will need to be redone in standard pitch. Would you do it again? I am willing to start over.
I Added piano track..I hope you like it..BTW The pitch of the karaoke backing track is lower than normal. (Normally A=440Hz, but this is A=434Hz) If other instruments are tuned as normal, the music will not be beautiful. We need to tune to the BT pitch. I tuned it to the pitch of this BT (A=434Hz)
Thanks Yoshi for your beautiful piano track. Its unfortunate that the BT is not in the correct key but only you know how to adejust that. I usually sing out of tune so maybe nobody will notice...John
@b33zo: My English is not good enough to understand you correctly. I am sorry. If the person who is going to add an instrument tunes it to the pitch of the backing track, there is no problem. Or can I do all the other instruments as well?
@yoshikoba: Thanks Yoshi, yes, I've got it now. I guess bass guitar and organ need to be at A=434Hz. You're most welcome to add the tracks whenever you have time. John
Drum track uploaded. Had fun doing this. Good job guys.
Hi John I changed the piano intro to the Eagles original tempo,,,,so changed the piano track. If OK, please publish it. Thanks(^^)
Love this song. Can I do the drum track on this one?
I added the backing vocal track,,I hope you like it..
