"I Won't Let You Down" is a song by British band Ph.D., released as the second single from their eponymous debut studio album (1981). It entered the Australian charts in October 1981 and reached number five;[3] it entered the UK Singles Chart in April 1982 at number 34, peaked at number three the following month. It went on to become the 23rd best-selling single of 1982 in the UK.

It was the band's best known biggest selling single and indeed became one of lead singer Jim Diamond's signature songs (the song is often incorrectly credited to Diamond himself). Diamond re-recorded the song on his eponymous 1993 album Jim Diamond with a slightly different arrangement, and it remained a staple of his live shows up until his death in 2015.

tonysurf70 , Bdajaysus , b33zo thank you all for your great tracks. I am happy with it. If anyone has a mix suggestion, please go ahead and submit a mix. Else, I will complete the collab in the next few days. Nice little number, this one. Thank you again.

tonysurf70 I am not sure if you were ready for me to publish your track. I published after merging John's tracks into a single track and your new track happened to be there. Your tracks sound great, Tony. I'm not sure we can make the twins happy no matter how hard we try. Shall we wrap it up?

Rough EP track uploaded, i appear to be lost at the beginning of the second verse so probably need to redo it, but you have an idea of what im doing anyway

Nice work, Tony. Would you mind redoing to address the hiccup in the second verse? I could potentially cut and paste from the 1st verse if you want to move on to something else. Would you also be able to do the intro and outro synth parts?

@Daniel Ramos (@dan00075): yes, will redo, I only noticed it after I was listening back with BT in DAW! Yes, should be able to do the synth parts

Thanks John. Great work! I will work on the fade out in the next few days. I might merge both your video tracks also, if you don't mind?

@Bdajaysus: Hi John. It's done. I hope you are OK with the end product. I transitioned the video. Kept the original sync'ed audio. Lined everything up and faded out both audio and video. This resulted in a single audio/video track that I uploaded to BH. Then I trimmed off the negative sync on the new track to avoid audio/video sync issues. The new track is sync'ed exactly as the old tracks, but it shows up at zero in Studio/DAW after trimming. If you don't like it, please do let me know and I will move the original tracks back in (currently in DRAFT). Cheers!
