To my ears the organ may be a little loud it doesn’t need to dominate, though it is kind of a signature hook for n the song.

I had to raise it slightly from the previous mix. I think it's perfect now. You totally nailed it, my friend. :-)

@CopyCat : well I lost my high end hearing sitting next to a lead guitar player’s amp for 13 years and wear hearing aids to compensate so yours are definitely better than mine!

CopyCat, with Bill drum track in and your excellent ear for mixing, this sounds fantasic. A little Bob Dylan tune I think we all enjoyed playing. Thanks again for the invite to play a little guitar on this one and really appreciate this talented group.

DrumrDad - Is everything OK? We haven't seen you around BHug much lately. Hoping you can still participate, but understand if you can't.

@Bill : LET'S SEE IF ALL INSTRUMENTS CAN END TOGETHER ON THE CHORD AT [d]4:00[/d] AND LET IT RING OUT LIKE MICHAEL'S PIANO TRACK, RATHER THAN TRYING TO FADE OUT LIKE THE BT. NOT A MAJOR PROBLEM, IF ANYONE MISSES OR FORGETS THE ENDING AT [d]4:00[/d], BUT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE EVERYONE TOGETHER ON THE ENDING.

Is that spillover at the very end just the backing track continuing to play after the ending we decided on or is the bass still going too? I thought we meant to end on that one last chord where I stopped the piano and organ. Maybe when the BT is gone it won’t sound like a mistake.

Yeah michaeldixon , it sounds like stubass tried to fade out with the BT like most BHug collabs. He probably didn't read what I wrote in the description before recording. Anyway, he said he would soon be taking some time away from BHug for a while, so he may not be available right now. If that bass fade-out bothers you, I can edit his track so it ends together with all the other tracks,. Should be simple enough.

@CopyCat : We’ll, it’s just my opinion but it sounds like a ragged mistake to me. I think evetybody else is out at that point.

@Michael Dixon: No worries - We can polish that up.

@Michael Dixon: Faedouts are a bad idea unless you can do it digitally. Most fade-outs in BH are really ragged. Bands don’t do that kind of thing when they perform their songs live. Ivy always felt fade-outs in produced, legitimate songs are sort of a cop out. I mean, when you write a song it should have a beginning and an ending, in most cases.

@Michael Dixon: I edited Stu's bass track so it ends with everyone else. Better?
