this was a non LP song for the Shocking Blue. It appeared only as a B Side of their hit single Venus in 1970. Released in the US on the Colossus label. They were a Dutch rock band.
The Fuzz guitar on this track sets all standards.

Well..what can I say? Thanks a whole lot to all that joined me on this 1970 #1 Billboard (B side of Venus) 45. ..I finally got the keyboard track track performance using the Sitar within the Collab. Now marked Completed and all with our own video performances :) Cheers!

Revup67 camillesobud billbassdude - What an absolutely scorching that performance of Hot Sand. This is not a cover this is a full blown desertified heatwave. Camille, your vocals were so hot and fiery ! Anthony, those drums were hitting like a tempest sandstorm — powerful, chaotic in the best way, and leaving us all flicking sand pebbles off our faces. Thanks again for the song selection and hosting this collab on the oasis. Bill, that bass line was so deep and warm it felt like sinking into the pit of carkoon right into the sarlacc’s maw !
