Ok Andrei, I recorded main and BV. This is the most consistent recording now and I don't think I can improve it much further without a lot of training. But thank you for pushing me up to this point, the song really deserves it. Hope you like it. :)
SingingWomble thanks for your not indifferent participation. As for me your two previous tracks sound better than new ones so please download proceeded in DAW your previous tracks and submit them for acception. The link is https://drive.google.com/drive..../folders/1CUUR4DY5L1
@Andrei : Thanks Andrei, done. I can see why you like the older one better, but I like the new one better. Well now you can proceed and if you want you could leave the collab open for other singers or me trying at a later point in time, because your recording is really good. :)
@SingingWomble: I don't see principal difference in your tracks, just in your last attempt your voice is too hoarse ... If you like to change something better way you could performe it as clear voice as you can (not hoarse) and not too pathetically. Thom York performs it with melancholy but not pathetically. Otherwise it's always will be the same.
Andrei, sorry I hadnt seen I was invited for this one. Didnt get any notification but I saw it on my list. Im happy if SingingWomble does it cause I dont know when I will be able to do it myself.
I'm sorry, I have to correct my earlier statement, I won't be able to do this within a few days... it was a few hours. ;oP Good enough, or almost good enough, or better not try again...you decide. :)
It could be a nice performance but you have to polish it. "Fade out again" in the first two choruses you have some false at "out" word, in the las chorus it sounds ok. There are "oh-oh" and "m-m-m" singing in breaks 2'00-2'19 and 3'17-end. Vocals doesn't work without this back so as well are needed two layers of BV, or you can include "m-m-m" into LV track + 1 layer of BT. If you're ready to proceed working on this and redo i can guarantee acception.
@SingingWomble: If you want a perfect recording, maybe try to run your first guitar through a low-cut filter because the sub bass of the fingers touching can be tough through some headphones, especially before the bass sets in.
@Andrei : Well, I have to record anyway to really hear everything, you can't hear yourself singing like playing a guitar. Anyway, I updated the recording adding BV. Constructive criticism welcome though I cannot guarantee I will manage a flawless recording. :)
@SingingWomble: thanks for yor job, pretty decent vocals taking into account difficulty of it. I will accept both your tracks, i'd like to process it in DAW befor. Then i'll give you link for your two new video, you'll download it and submit for acception.
Thank you all for this collab ;-)
Guys thanks for participation, marked as completed.
