Chances are you’re familiar with Songs From St. Somewhere. The album came in as the 28th studio album from American icon Jimmy Buffett. One of the best songs on the album, too, is Mark Knopfler’s “Oldest Surfer on the Beach”. Knopfler plays guitar for the track, but Buffet’s age’d voice lends the perfect beachside gravitas his lyrics require. RIP

Some guitar , I couldn;t get a lap steel part, guess you need a pedal steel ( too expensive and hard ) or palm benders ( pricey and hard to install ) Bar slants or string pulls behind the bar ( c'mon I;m just a hacker ) so i added some effect drenched tele- bends, ( mix 'em low and they sorta work ) as always can re-do if ya like.
