Hello CyberBass, I published the mix you have just sent me, frankly speaking I don't know what is going on, for me this collab was fine since the very first version with some adjustments required and done. Marjolein just asked that her vocal sound was a little better heard and all this problem happened, I don't know why.
@Jaugb: I wouldn't call it a problem. But the number of times we have mixed has been high. I hope everyone likes this mix. We should all be happy with the end result.
@Jaugb: I think the only time the vocal tracks diverge, is at 2:17 - otherwise is is very difficult to distinguish each track individually. Perhaps that is the main issue.
@marjolein: Good to hear! This collab came at the end of a very low time for me and I am grateful to you all for being a part of my return to the land of the living! This is a special collab for me.
Jaugb - New mix saved Julio. If you listen to the DAW mix it was not distorted, but the published version was? Never heard/seen that one before. I have lowered all the levels to attempt to avoid this. Please publish and see if it is fixed or not?
My friend it seems to be fine for me, I don't know what happened for the distortion to appear, I only apply and publish buttons. What do you guys think about this last mix just published?
Hello Surferbeto, thanks for your comments and routine to get a better sound result. It's way far from my knowledge doing it, but if one here wants to try, please, feel free to do it.
Jaugb - Julio - am I hearing things of is this collab distorted now?? How did this happen? I will try to lower all the levels again - can't leave it this way. Still welcome anyone else trying a mix
Rob I looked at DAW and somebody boosted all the levels it needs to revert back to original tracks, I'm pretty sure Julio did not do this and as he is organiser I don't know can anyone else raise the levels
I read way down the Cments where you noted twin lead vocals were at max volume and still not quite where you wanted them. There are a couple ways to boost tjem.if you want. 1) Use the boost levels button in the wrench icon toolbox. 2) Use a flat EQ boost to increase levels. 3) My favorite technique: Dogwood vocal tracks and use a sound processing app like Audacity (free, open source) to add some compression to vocals. Then replace original.video's audio (a number of free apps can do this), save new version of the video, and re-import to BamdHug collab (rw-import as BT so the original al labels with players names are not altered) .
Just a thought. Boosting vocal track's le els wod give you more options for sound mixing .
Just a thought. This project sounds really good! Rock on you all!
Jaugb - I have saved another mix. I don't know what else I can do.
