Dropped a bass part for you. Had a bunch of fun doing this one, tho' I'm beginning to hate the fact that they couldn't write an ending - the slow fade is a pain :-)
Love it, Jim. Bouncy. Though I'm a fan of the fadeout in general, it does present some difficulties here. I'll see what I can do with the finicky Bandhug fadeout tool come final mix. Thanks, mate.
Piano sent, synced, and sent a mix. Working on strings, chimes, and sax nest. Thanks. Let me know if there are changes needed.
Hi Sammy, percussion track send for review. I think the volume is very low, and not in sync. I've lot of issues with recording at this moment. Please check and let me now. Probably I must redo it, but that's no problem.
ksam camillesobud ftFonz guizubao - This one is growing ! Well done all !
I added a new instrumental track, without the drums, bass, guitar, and vocals, just the missing instruments.
Hi stubass I added the rhythm guitar. I'm not able to recreate the solo because I don't have a guitar with a trem on it right now. I declined the invite for the lead part, but it still shows me as invited for that... I'm not sure how to fix that, but I think you'd have to rescind it and invite someone else? Anyway, fun riff, thanks for the invite!
Hi @stubass, I accepted the Rhythm, but declined the lead because all my guitars right now have hardtails, so I can't pick up the lead for this one.
Hi @stubass Here is a drum track to check out, I have it on my DAW, if it needs turning up or anything, I hope you like it :-)
Hey guys, do you need me to redo it? Feel free to ask me :)
So nice guys! Great song and great performance! If you need a bass track, I’d be happy to record it for you. Amazing!
Thank you! We have someone currently giving it a try, but if they decide not to, we'd love to have you
@Guilherme von Zuben Ricetto: Ok, so I've sent you guys my bass track. Tell me if it works for you! :)
@Guilherme von Zuben Ricetto: Man that bass is exquisite Love it my friend!!!
Track sent guys vocals are out of this world any changes needed give your vox a rest and then give me a holler :-)
@Bdajaysus: thank you! Brandon (N3RO) is like a one stop shop for brilliance!
Hi @stubass I have a track almost ready to send, I have an intro congo sound on it if you like :-)
dennisski: Are there any other Conga players out there besides Albee?
I think ftFonz can cover that, I've heard him on Gone, Gone, Gone.
Piano sent and synced. I think the ending will sound better when all instruments are submitted. Thanks. Let me know if everything is ok. Sent a mix just for my levels
@stubass: I didn't hear that, old age i guess. Fixed and resubmitted. Thanks
Wow thx1138 AKA Fran-keys, great work! We don't even have drums, vocals or bass and the collab already has full sound. Thanks buddy!
brijamcam -- What a cool Girl Rock song ! Nice work as always buddy ! Great combination of dirty and clean tones ! Nice ! Thanks for the invite..Here some tracks...Hope you like....Send a suggested mix level for my tracks..But of course up to you...
Oh this song brings me good memories, when I used to play this tune in a pop rock band. It was always super fun! What a fantastic tone! Great job, Brian!
@brijamcam: Sure! Just send me an invite and I'll work on it :)
I have her Funhouse live in Australia dvd, it has to be watched on big screen with pumped up volume. It gets a lot of plays in this house.
@Bdajaysus: Lots of great songs on the Funhouse album. Assuming the live one is good too. Thanks for the compliments! I know you have other songs that you are working on but this one is free if you want to join in when you are free. Never a rush. Let me know.
I mark this as complete. Thank you all for your wonderful work and talent!!
Hi Georgi I stopped a bit short if you want me to redo then I will if you are doing a fade at the end my track might work, please let me know.
@Bdajaysus: I dont't want a repeat because it's perfect!! We'll take it fade in the final mix.
Georgi - Nice work ! Well done. This one is growing fast ! Great song choice !
Hi Georgi! Here comes the bass! thx1138 Frank you're a beast! Happy to jam with you guys again!
For a very short time I rehearsed with a real band from my city - "Phoenix" - that was in their Songlist. But I became a father, and I quit. Nice memories..
Love it, Love it, Love it!!! Congratulations everyone. Top collab!!
Drum track for your consideration, Stu. I didn't play to the BT because I couldn't isolate it, so I did my own thing. I can redo it but I'm probably stuck in my own head at this point. You guys have done a pretty stupendous job with this one. Vocals and instrumentation are fantastic. Obviously, a lot of love going into it. I'll fully understand if you want another take. That being said, a lot of it has to do with tuning and EQ and the fact that the drums are usually very back of the room for Fleetwood Mac, landing with the bass and low keys on the keyboard a lot. At least that's how I always thought of it. Cheers...
Thank you, Bob. It sounds great to me and i 've published it but the others may want to opine so I'll leave it unlocked
Here is a drum track Frank I hope you like it, I love those special effects and that guitar, plus you nailed that guitar sound as always.
Grant - Grant ! Thank you for the drum tracks. Your performance was on fire ! Love those fast fills in the beginning and throughout ! Appreciate the double track. The drum tone was smoking, and the energy of all that superfast playing added real heat to the collab. As always appreciate your fine work and thanks for your nice words too pal ! That was quite a workout you did there ! Take a break pal - all that smoke and flames with you - you need to cool off.
@thx1138: There no video effects on this one Frank, I have 6 power adaptors plugged in to each other behind me, I was happy to put a bit of energy in to this as its a fantastic song to match the global situation at the present, I am glad you liked my friend. And Thank you for the invite:-)
joeyman1 SixStringRick guizubao cbgb - Wow sounding great Gents ! Someday....Joey will come...And sing...LOL ! Enjoy your Vac pal !
Hi Joey. I left you a drum track, but I'll redo it when the vocals come in. It will be easier to get into the groove.
Hey Joey, here comes the bass. Hope you like it. A little sloppy when changes key, so if you want me to redo it, I'll do it :)
Hey GZ, no sweat , lets see how it pans out after the vocals and final mix , we might be ok . Really appreciate you chipping in on this one . cheers joey
Joey...a little acoustic to follow what Frank is playing while keeping his exceptional guitar playing out front. Let me know what you think...can redo if you have somethin else in mind. Saved a volume mix for the track. Thanks for the invite ! Rick
Hi Rick , Nice job on the strings. I think it all sounds good , i tinkered with the volumme and panning levels just to see what effect i could get . I am away for 2 weeks unexpectedly so vocals might be a bit later than i wanted , in the meantime i hope to see some bass and drums added . Cheers rick, and thanks again for joining in this one .
Quite ambitious - why did the 80's have to make so much synthesizer music? I love listening to all of it but is super hard to reproduce! Haha
Saw this was marked complete but not seeing a Guitar track anywhere. Did Johnny not play on his own song?
Revup67 your synth ??? Amazing. Such talent on display here TG4BH !!!
Good observation..that's a Solina (Arp Synth). The same instrument Rick Derringer used on this recording. I bought the Arturia Pro Collection which includes roughly 30+ vintage instruments and looked up on the LP credits that a Solina was used. Sifted through the presets but no close match. Wound up building my own preset that worked (as with Bill's Clavinet - built a preset which also comes with Arturia) and presto! We had lift off.
To all the musicians on this Collab, please click the THUMBS UP button...seems I'm the only one? Sounding good as this juncture. Congrats to Camille for taking on this obscurity by Johnny Winter (PS the title is missing "by Johnny Winter", only shows Blinded By Love)
Thank you ! :) Does it sound good like this or do you need me to change something on the BV or add some others ? Btw, well done everyone, when I first listened to this collab I thought it was the original !!!
Thumbed., Tony. I was wondering if liking a video gives it some sort of promotional advantage. Is it the criteria by which collabs are placed among the "best of the month" perhaps?
Strumbo - Piano appears too loud in the mix..should be lower at the drum level or clavinet. It's currently drowning out much else. I'll try and do a mix as well
Ow c'mon! What a jam! I absolutelly love this track! Fantastic job everyone. What a tone, Frank! We need to see this one completed!
Hey, I'm so sorry Frank. I've just been straight out with work, and by the time I get home I don't do much other than eat dinner, and go to sleep. And then there's those annoying allergies I talk about all the time. But I'm hoping they'll calm down a little bit so that I can sing without sounding all garbled. If you have another person in mind you may hand the part off. I've certainly taken a long time to get around to it. Otherwise I've got it at the head of my list
@stegokitty : Thanks Shawn your reservation takes Sanctuary in this collab !
Jim's top tip - DO NOT record in the kitchen with the oven on wearing a preposterous hat.. Anyhoo - dropped a bass part - if you like - keep :-)
junglejim - Right on ! Rebel Hoth Soldier ? No ! I get it ! The singer dude from this band used to wear hats like that right ? Either way thanks for coming aboard excellent playing as always and great tone ! Nothing wrong with playing in the kitchen considering your talent is among the finest of cuisines !
Note to TBD contributors: the BT starts a bit later because I decided to play the piano intro at my own pace. But it shouldn't affect you too much. My suggestion is to record against the BT and to avoid listening to it with my track at the same time because the pianos won't line up (just during the intro).
Wowsa - six years ago and I've only just lined up my bass part with everyone else.... Sounds marvellous tho'
Sorted thanks to divine intervention - or brijamcam as he likes to he known..
OK - I may need to get some chicken entrails and start an incantation - no matter what I do it doesn't keep the offset I put in..
guizubao - Hi Guilherme, let us know if you'd be up for an easy and smooth bass line by doing this one?
Of course I am! One of the most beautiful songs of all time. This song has helped me a couple of times in my life.
cbgb -- Could you invite Guilherme for the bass part? He's got a great sound and awesome bass playing chops.
@Guilherme von Zuben Ricetto: That's great. Yeah, that song's always been special to me too.
MikeWalker -- Hello Mike, let me know if this is one you'd be interested in doing (no rush as always)?
I submitted a preliminary vocals track. I'm not satisfied with this recording but I need to wait for my voice to get better.
I think you sound great, Rova. I think I just need a sync tweak somewhere, maybe my drums.
cbgb - Hello Bob, I've uploaded a new version with some minor adjustments (including new backvocals for the outro). Could you trim the beginning of my video by -00:00.368 and publish (after your verification/mixing)? Thanks!
@rova: Awesome vocals, Rova. Thanks so much. I completely forgot to publish your track last week. My apologies. A good friend into the hospital last Thursday and it has been hell for him. It just git away from me.
@Bob : Thanks for oublishing and for your kind words. I'm sorry ymto hear about your friend. I hope he gets better soon.
@Eric (@pcderic) : He didn't make it, Eric, I'm sorry to say. Thanks for thinking of him, though. Definitely a sad time but it was for the best.
Sounds great guys. Bob I love your new drum mix, and Eric that solo took me back in the day. Very good
cbgb - Hi Bob, initial keys track submitted. I'll have a bit of tweaking and one overdub to do next (for the outro).
Sorry for the double submit. I just added the missing outro stuff as a picture-in-picture element in my video.
@Eric (@pcderic) : Quick publish from, Studio. That ok? Or should I republish from DAW?
@Bob : I think that it's fine from Studio for now (especially considering the perf issues right now).
We're done here, folks. I'm happy with this one. I hope you all are too. Thanks for the good work.
I added piano for review. I think BV is unnecessary because it is already included in the CC vocal track.
Thanks for the editing and engineering work, CopyCat. The ending works well, and though there's a litt;e "bleeding" of other instruments in the horn track you provided, I'm sure it couldn't be helped and I don't see it interfering. Anyway, we wouldn't be able to find a brass section otherwise. And, of course, your vocal track is greatly appreciated.
Thanks John. Another great track. Do you prefer one over the other? I still have the original in drafts and could edit either one to fit , once I figure out how.
@CopyCat : CC Aced it man with your vocals and topped it off with precise editing tyvm Sir
Sounds great. Luv it with the vocal volume up like that. Great harmonies impressive vocal work - nice collab gentlemen
I like it. check out my saved settings, raised the vocals and UTT the timing, Im digging it. vocals are great, synched my bass to the drums
Thanks for that ajustment juilo , this sounds much better. Sorry for all those DAW request but my system is all over the shot atm . .Anyway nice collab so far . Cheers joey.
No problems Joey, it happens very often, what matter is you did great vocal tracks, thanks!

Hey Frank, how are you buddy? Do you need bass for this one?
