Sounds really good Greg, my first Skynyrd tune, fun to give it a go, thank you for the invite
Media error format. Was playing earlier. Watched on phone in car as well. Will see in morning I guess
Looking forward to working on this with you. The Lauten Kick drum mic sounds great. Got the collab in my to list
Sounds Great, Bob, the kit sound really good. Bass and keys are awesome. Looking forward to this collabs progress.
Daniel, My weekend started early today, so I worked on my last track, let me know if you like it.
Megasis Great work, Maximo. You have done an excellent job. Thank you so much for your help with this collab and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend! Cheers!
Daniel, I've just uploaded the Mellotron (Strings and Flute), 60% volume, let me know if you like it. I'll be working on the Harpsichord this weekend.
Megasis Maximo, excellent work, as always. Thank you so much and I look forward to the harpsichord when you get a chance to do it! Have a great weekend! Cheers!
Thank you. I can never tell. After almost every Windows update it sounds different to me, either on the monitor side, or the mix, or sometimes both. It can sound different on different collabs, too. Btw, I never realized how cool the bass was on this song until I listened to you play it.
@Bob : Thanks Bob, that is nice to hear. I am glad you noticed how the bass helps put this song together. My interpretation is not perfect, but I am happy with it. :)
@Daniel Ramos (@dan00075): I think it fits and sounds great. I'm not much of a cover guy, as you well know, but much respect to those that do it well. I just like to hear that interpretation. Even from original artists, you know what I mean? To go to a concert and hear an exact replay of the original studio recording without any rearanging or vamping is kind of a letdown for me. I want that unpredictable, unexpected aspect.
MikeWalker Mike, would you be interested in doing the guitar parts?
O.K. Joe.
This Collab., needed some more percussive spice. I have added: Bongos & Cabasa.. O.K. Let me know. Thanks Bro....
I can do this again. Needs more percussion too. Let me know. Thanks Bro.
Wonderful vocals ksam! I love your effects too! Thanks so much, and it was well worth the wait!
@Protis: Thanks Alan, glad you like it. I think Camille's tracks need mixing; if you're both agree I can do it.
@ksam: yeah her vocals are a bit quiet in places, and I have always liked your approach to mixing so feel free to go ahead.
@Protis: No problem, my friend; if Camille agree, just post her tracks to one of my unfinished collabs. https://bandhug.com/watch/rain....bow-in-the-sky-alpha
Hi everyone, wow! Great work so far, well done. Alan my dear friend, really sorry for the delay. At the moment, I have little time for Bandhug but no worries, I’ll take care of it soon.
Hi Alan, here are two backing vocals !! :) Let me know if they sound good to you. I needed to synchronize them with yours, so I saved a miw on DAW mode. I saw you invited Ksam for the vocals, so he is recording the rap part ? I don't need to work on it ? Can't wait to hear the finished collab !
Excellent job so far Alan and Grant !! :) Love how it sounds !
Fantastic vocals Camille! They sounds great! Ksam will do the rap part, and other vocal parts too.
Michael, I submitted the upright bass track - see what you think. I'm digging on the keyboards -all the instrument voices really sound great!
The upright bass sounds great. I like your DAW Settings.I applied them and republished. Thanks for the compliments, but I am not satisfief with my performance in some places. I may do some of my parts over.
I couldn’t find anyone on Bandhug who would try singing this song so I used the isolated vocals from the original. Special thanks to Copy Cat for helping with production and adding the vocals by Carl Wilson, Brian Wilson, and Bruce Johnston. I played all the music except for bass (Billbassdude) and drums (Revup67.)
Eliminated one window that only had video to keep the collab at the limit of 11.
Did harpsichord, French horn, clarinet,. Published what’s been done so far.
That's an awesome job on the bass Bill, I love it! And beautiful work on the guitar and piano as always Yoshi, you never disappoint :)
Yoshi, okay, Published with your piano and guitar. I took down the BT to 0, so it is just you and me and Norah Jones' vocal track. It's a temporary mix, sounds just wonderful - can't wait for Marjolein's track.
Oh this is already without the backing track, what the heck guys... Round of applause for you :p
I sent the piano and guitar tracks. I hope you like them. In the original song, a bit of steel guitar comes in toward the end (around 2:48).I can add it if needed, but I feel it doesn’t contribute much to this particular arrangement.
Wow! How did you do that? !! The piano track is absolutely incredible!!! Beautifully done - you captured the jazzy feel of her playing and the tone, just everything. Again, I am overwhelmed by your tremendous talent and abilities. The guitar track is exactly what I was hoping for - it's perfect and I agree with you not doing the steel guitar - doesn't add anything to what we have here. Thank you my friend. This just keeps getting better and better.
Claude, Huge thanks for doing this one. Both guitars are sounding great, like the sound, the style, and remarkable talent.
And I tweek my guitar and joeys vocal volumes so let me know what you think of ther mix. Got bass and BV on the way and will remix then. Thanks
Hi Linda, thanks for accepting the invite. I think your voice will be great with Joey !
Joey, another nice job on a Petty tune. Thanks much for adding your voice and style....perfect.
Very cool song choice. In fact I am currently reading the book "The Byrds Timeless Flight Revisited: the Sequel " by Johnny Rogan (700 pages) a fantastic read by the way. According to the book this was only a B Side and was the flip side of All I Really Want To Do which was the Byrds second single. However Cher's (Sonny and Cher) team unscrupulously recorded the Byrds at Ciro's in Hollywood and dishonestly released All I Really Want To Do first which toppled the Byrds 45 as cher's version made the Billboard Top 20. Needless to say Columbia began pushing I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better as an alternate hit. This IMHO was the best track on Full Moon Fever by Tom Petty. Good work gents! More jingle jangle :)
Hey Bob, thanks for getting the drum track. You nailed it ! Appreciate the time and talent.
Hi Pete, here are the backing vocals. I hope you like them, if you want to change anything, don't hesitate to let me know.
Published! Sounds GREAT!!! Ksam will add bgv,s to complete. Thanks everyone for making this so good.
Hi team, excellent collab—great work everyone. Pete, my dear friend here is my LV track and I'm really sorry for the delay; I have little time for Bandhug right now. If you don't have anyone for backing vocals, no worries—just let me know, and I'll do it this week .
okay, Frank, just WOW! I just had the biggest grin on my face listening to your lead track - just so tastefully done. I keep shaking my head trying to figure out how you do such a great job capturing the tone, texture and vibe of the song. Such a pleasure to listen to - well done my friend.
billbassdude - The wow factor goes back to you pal - way too generous with the nice words/praise...It means a lot...Thanks so much and right back at you..Our paths have crossed a lot here on the Hug - always an honour....You always produce quality work ! And why not ? It's all about the bass - no treble !
PeteH Bdajaysus billbassdude - Gentlemen ! This is some mighty fine musical magic we have here ! Well done all ! Honoured to be invited. Hope I pass the audition. Pete – Here are two rhythm tracks for you…Maybe pan them L/R ? Also sent is a lead track…I took liberties with the solo and I am NOT Eric…Hope you like what I have to offer ?
WOW! on all fronts. Thanks. Now I hope to find singers to match this quality Then I'll be ecstatic.
Wow !!! Great adds and mix Mike and Pete !! Love the tracks ! It sounds really nice !! :D
All tracks are now in..mixed 7-28-26 and made Public. Please click the thumbs up if you enjoyed this Collab. Thanks in advance.
Hi Anthony sent you 2 guitar tracks. I did the solo guitar on a seperate track so you can decide what volume you want on it. Also sent a DAW mix as I had to sync the main guitar part. Thanks for the invite on this one and apologies for the delay but it's been so hot here phew :-)
Mike - sounds wonderful. Great sound and performance as well. Most pleasing. I went ahead and took your spot on sync settings and applied to the mix already in place then panned the rhythm opposite the keys and put bill on the same side as the keys with your lead somewhat center. Overall I'm thrilled with the final outcome here. Congrats to everyone that joined in on this wonderful forgotten song. PLEASE click the LIKE button if you haven't already.
@Revup67: Thanks Anthony mix sounds really good. Everyone sounds great on this one. Thanks again for the invite :-)
That's wonderful Pete - thanks for handling this organ part . Sounds great! Just published..If the organ is too loud please advise. I panned and adjusted to the original recording.
OMG this is so impressive !! It seems to be super fast and tricky on this song, well done Anthony !! :D
@camillesobud: Thanks a lot Camille..it's a style of drumming I enjoy quite a bit punchy and snappy. Had it in 3 takes.
I put this up on my YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQ439vkdq4k
Hank, I happen to sit down to have dinner and this randomly popped up ! I am trying to clean up and reduce file size and also realized I had not deleted the BT...so doing some housekeeping. Thanks, Rick
Hank...did a little final mix to finish. Simple collab with some great vocals. Thanks
Hi Rick, thank you for the invite, here is a vocal for you I hope it is alright if not I can redo it next week...
Hank...that was fast! A wonderful track. I think you came as close as anyone could to the spirit of IZ singing his classic. I doubled you up if your good with that. No need to redo as sounds great to me. Thanks, Rick
All, revisited and still struggling with finding a vocalist that will jump in on this one. Really hard to find in recent months. Will keep on the lookout ! Thanks
thx1138, billbassdude, Grant and michaeldixon, Much thanks for jumping on on this one. Im still reaching out to Creek to see if she can do the vocals as she has done some Blackberry Smoke before with me. In the meantiime copycat was kind enouph to work some technical magic. He isolated Charlie Stars vocals, and published the MP3 in the mix. I've got an OK mix, but let me know of any recommendations and I'll fine tune the mix in the next week or so. Thanks all, Rick
Hi SixStringRick song sounds great everyone, I have tweaked my drum track because of the hihat on my first track was a bit loud to the rest of the kit, so if you like it Rick, can you then delete out the drum track with the black brink backing.
@Grant : Nice refinement...compared both and could hear the difference, so published the new one. Sure sounds great ! Thanks, Rick
Michael...outstanding keyboard work, appreciate your talent and putting in the time for a perfect set of tracks
Added piano and organ. I saved a mix if you want to listen to it. I baked both keys off a bit and pushed the piano to the right and the organ to the left. This song was so much fun to play it was hard to stop
Hi SixStringRick here is a drum track to check out, you guys all sound great, I hope the drums fit in :-)
Grant, wow, great sound ( what set do you use). Right in-synch with everything and like your personal choices. Much appreciated, Rick
@Rick : Thanks Rick, I use the Roland td50 module, probably 7,8 year old module now, the personal touches are bits I wasn't able to nail at the time lol, I am glad you liked it and thanks for the invite.
When I listened back to the collab with the backing track muted, it sounds so gorgeous!! Everyone did such an amazing job, wow guys!! Really great work.
Ja Bedenkt! At around 1:53 you have some BV's that are unecessary. Can you eliminate? If not, we'll leve as is
@stubass: oh yeah I noticed that they were also in the instrumental. But it is all mixed now.
@stubass: haha, if you can sync it to the correct part it is a lot less noticeable ;)
Hey Stuart, I finally found some time to really work on this song! Glad to be able to record it, such a beautiful song :) THe sync should be -00:00.192 I think.
It's not synced yet, could you shift it to this sync or publish my DAW setting? Thanks @stubass
Thanks! It is a very sweet song, nice melody. I really liked the simplicity of some of her first recordings.
If there's no one who's taken over the piano, I can try. It's not going to be 1: 1, I could improvise in that style. You're doing very well so far.
I left a dry piano track for your review @BillBassDude, if you like it is yours, I can modify, the kids embarrassed me as you can see in the video.. :)
@Georgi : I was recording a bass track, and our cat jumped up on the railing and was cruising by - I would have kept it, but it got me laughing so hard it messed up my playing. I love the kids and the dog - so fun!!! Love your playing my friend, the video was just icing on the cake.
WOW...stellar performances all around. Love the sound and style. And Bill's upright playing gets a high-five. Nicely done.
Okay, published - sounds just incredible. I turned the BT off, and added stems of the drums and piano as placeholders until those two tracks are uploaded.
Marjolein, I'm nearly speechless - that was so beautifully done. If you had done it first, the royalties would have been going your way. Wow, just wow!!!! I synced the track where you suggested, sounds perfect. I'll work the levels and publish, still the drums and piano to come. This will turn some heads and ears. Thank you - what a talent : )
@manonamission are you still active here ? I totaly forgot about this collab its about 4 years ago that i send in a endmix in My saved settings. Check it out please....
hi indigo.. unfortunately i am no lonf=ger a full member,, long story... i just sent a message to admin to ask for re publishing with your settings, thank you for looking into it ..
@manonamission : Oh okay man thanks for your reply. @admin @Denniski can you help us publish this collab using my saved settings?
@Indoguitar : i think i managed to get the daw published.. thank you !
@manonamission : Yes you did it ! Thank you for your help. It sounds real good man.

Need Help? Questions? Email support@bandhug.com

Yoshi, you never cease to amaze!! Beautiful track with the guitars - so well voiced with the acoustic and the little treats offered by your electric - loved the high harmonic notes. You captured the atmosphere of the song - masterfully done my friend. Okay, I lowered the BT level to zero and added stems for the vocal and drums. I will take them down once we get those tracks. Temporary mix until we get it all togerher. Thank you - you bring a lot to every collab you do - it really shows on this one.
Uploaded guitrs track..If there's anything missing, please let me know.
Hi admin
There’s something I’m concerned about. The audio sounds clean in the DAW screen, but in the Studio screen it becomes distorted. This didn’t happen very often in the past, but recently it seems to occur more frequently.Do you know what might be causing this?
