joeykaraoke - Hi Joey - got another track and another DAW in. I think I'm done! If you delete the backing track, then we will all still fit okay on the visual. I used a special pedal called "Dr. Scientist BitQuest" that turned my guitar into a synth basically, to make it sound "string-ey".

Awesome! joeykaraoke I did one more DAW mix. I felt like the synthy part was too loud, overpowering the vocals even. Sounds better if it's just in the background barely there, I think. I turned it down a lot. After that, I think it's good to mark completed!

My apologies in advance ... Please feel free to get another person to handle to vocals. Beside the fact that my voice has been fairly wrecked from allergies (though doing much better now, thank God!) it's going to needs be a time for recovery and strengthening ... and then there's the problem with this song ... or rather the problem that my voice cannot handle -- it's that the majority of this song lives in that place where my voice cracks up. It's not high enough for falsetto and too low for a valid tenor. I thought I might be able to do it, but I can't, but I wanted to get it done because I said would, and so it's done, such as it is, at least as far as what I'm able to do. So again, PLEASE get a voice who can actually handle this song. Here's hoping all's well with everyone. PS - And of course you'll need to do some shuffling of the tracks to get 'em to line up properly.

12-9-25 9pm PST . Had to resync all tracks one by one as somehow the BT was at -.464 likely after the Collab transfer. Some of us know, the BT must always be at 0:00. Once I reset this to zero, I worked each track one by one until all tracks lined up (best I could). Did a full remix. The Collab stands as an instrumental at the moment. Thank you all for understanding.

Shawn I don’t think your vocal is as gad as all that. I know what you mean about it being it being in a difficult spot in between full tenor and falsetto. Do you think if you let it rest for a while you could try it again and see if it gets better? I don’t know who else we could get that could do it better. It’s just a difficult vocal. I’ve heard you pull off bigger miracles before. Those allergies can really make it tough. The rest of the song sounds so good and I’d hate to just leave it in limbo and let it slide. Hey, miracles can happen. I have faith.

michaeldixon - thanks for transferring this Collab. I finally got this up and running today 12-9-25 and regrettably I had to remove arejay222 vocal line as well as jaybern 's vocals as there was too much phasing which disrupted the rest of the Collab. Getting a good mix was impossible and I tried for quite sometime. Please take no offense as I am very grateful for your efforts. Undoubtedly this is a very difficult song to do vocally and Levi Stubb's original vocals simply can't be mirrored. Thank you both for understanding.

@Revup67: BV recorded, they might need some more volume... If you need me to record them again, let me know. I think they are better than the previous one (I mean the harmony sounds better, but I wasn't singing and talking very loud in the mic). I synchonized them on DAW mode.

I ask this as each track is quite different as to where the background vocals enter. You can see this in DAW but perhaps this is what was intended. @Revup67: the last two are good to keep, one is the harmony of the chorus, the other one is the "Maybe tomorrow maybe someday" that are talked at the end of the song. You can erase the others in drafts. Thanks.
