Well, here's my bass track fo you. In the best interest of my poor right hand fingers, I really hope you like it. (But if not, I'll gladly redo it...)
Hi Frank. I completely forgot about this one! I'm working on it and hope to upload my track soon (even though the guitar solo section is an attack on my poor right hand...)
Listening again I noticed that the organ actually comes in sooner than I thought. It’s not real noticeable though because it just plays glissandos or glides in the dead spots between the verses. I think I might go back and do that again. It’s not a real big deal either way.
It sounds to me like the organ comes in just a bit before the sax solo, so I played that. Then I tried the sax solo. Then there's another guitar solo. I can play all organ if you want.
I fell of the timing on the Rythm right before the first lead. But recovered. Gonna leave it for now to working on the call and response first solo. Is guitar and sax. I’m gonna go for the sax w wha and slide. Then end. First lead is keyboards. Than sax , w guitar slowly coming in w little jabs than electric w sax horn jabs. Ending w guitar lead. Hell of a song. Was listening and taking notes typing this in studio to keep my phone from falling asleep

I published my feelin it out first track to see if anyone is interested in finishing this one. It's not that clean and I kind of lose it at the beginning of the long outro, which needs a tag, but you'll get the idea. It's been a long time since I've played it. Not a problem for me once I get into the groove and I'm not coming at it first thing in the morning.
Vocals track uploaded. My head voice isn't great. I tried changing the phrasing, but it didn't work well. It's the best I can do. Hope you'll like it!
Stu, I recorded my last track the strings (Violin, Viola and Cello), let me know if you like it. I save a Mix also, not much change.
Finally, I uploaded the Wah-Wah track, it tried my best, as this was probably done with an E Guitar and a Wah-wah pedal. I saved a Mix, in case you want to hear it.
Okay, published with your updated track and video. Sounds awesome. I did a little tweak to sync everything. See what you all think -everything still temporary.
Okay, published with Pete's incredible wall of sound synth work - just fantastic. I took the BT to zero and temporarily uploaded just the lead vocal and drum stems until we get those spots completed. Thanks again Pete!

1983Electric showed someone else who wanted me to try to get the collaboration finished up
You go to Edit collab and then a sign and then assign it to me and I will take control of it and be able to publish and hopefully we can finish it up

Hey Joey, thanks much for that second shot at the vocals. There were some technical issues that Dennis helped me resolve, but think I got it right. The track I just published is your most recent track (dark cap) with the settings in your mix. Very much appreciate your committment to this tune and look forward to the BVs. Fantastic job !
Revised single banjo track in and instruments remixed, ready for Joeyman1. Just a note that in that new track the video for some reason freezes for about 10 seconds but audio (most important element) is still working. So Im good with it !

Anything but dull now - I love the new and improved mix. More drum presence, more grit - it's just awesome!
9-8-26 - In speaking with JayBern last evening, the drums seemed to be a bit dulled after more instruments were added. They were remastered/mixed today. Hopefully this sounds better. It's got more punch.

I think I'll go ahead and mark it complete tomorrow if there's nothing else to do.
Lead vocals are separated slightly right and slightly left.
9-2-26 12 noon PST .. First, I am happy so say we stayed within the 10 track limit despite the fact that there are truly 22 tracks! Joey's videos at least on my end and at this moment appear our of sync (not the audio just the video). If anyone perceives this same issue then I can trim the track directly within bandhug and offset the negative values. This procedure normally works well, once in a rare while it doesn't but can be reverted.
